The intensity of this whisky is overwhelming with only limited oak to offer complexity. A big Islay malt. Silky, malty. Herbal fruitiness and bitterness, and some pepper. Grassy and peaty. A seaweedy medicinal touch. Peaty, with that unmistakable breath of the seashore.
