The lightest of the Islay malts, but its body has a distinctive oiliness. Gold colour, fresh ‘sea air’ aroma, light to medium yet firm body. Gentle, clean flavour with a nutty-malty sweetness. Light peat and discreet smoke. Full-bodied finish with a hint of vanilla and some smoke.
